Cookies we use now

  • dt_cookie_preferences: stores your cookie category choices for up to 180 days.
  • Auth.js / NextAuth cookies: session, callback, and CSRF cookies used when signing in with Discord and saving votes.
  • dt_anon: stores a random identifier for up to one year to deduplicate anonymous votes where anonymous voting is enabled.
  • dt_steam_link_state: a short-lived state cookie used only during Steam account linking.

Cookies we may use later

If analytics or ads are added later, tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Google AdSense may set cookies or use local storage only after you accept the relevant category. Examples can include Google identifiers such as _ga, _gid, _gcl_au, or advertising/measurement storage depending on the product enabled.
